Who am I?

I was born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. When I moved to United States a couple of years ago, I spoke only a few words in English, and for an incredibly long time, I struggled.

I would say my current state of mind is turbulent. One of my most obvious characteristics is that I have a very active inner thought process. The trait that I most deplore in myself is that I usually stay quiet and hide my feelings. The fear that lies within is losing myself in the process of pursuing success.

This one person has been one of my greatest influences. I have never seen anyone quite like him before. To me, he has such an interesting personality, a beautiful soul, and a bright persona. His dedication and hard work never seize to amaze me. His passion for dancing inspires and motivates me to move on in life.

I value honesty in a friendship. Without it, whatever is between us is virtually nonexistent. I get pleasure and satisfaction by doing Mathematics and solving puzzles. There is a saying that touched me so much that goes something like: “If you don’t have a dream, that’s okay. It’s possible not to have a dream. If you’re happy, that’s all that matters.” These words will forever hold a special place in my heart. I never thought happiness was not only achieved once we finish a journey, but the journey itself could also be happiness.
